Essential Functions:-Assists in complex office-based procedures and provides clinical oversight for quality control programs.-Provide leadership to the medical assisting team, including training, mentoring, and performance guidance.-Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring proper workload distribution and effective utilization of resources.-Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.-Coordinate patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.-Assist with patient intake, including obtaining medical history, vital signs, and preparing patients for examination.-Participates in the interview process for new MAs and serves as a preceptor for new hires or students, supervising clinic support staff and creating coverage schedules for the MA team.-Assists with competency assessment for other MAs and provides input on performance evaluations.
