Desired skills include aseptic practice, patient monitoring (EKG, invasive pressure, B/P, SaO2), post-anesthesia patient care, drug dose calculation and administration, management of tubes including endotracheal tubes and tracheostomies, mechanical ventilation management, and clinical competency in conscious sedation.
