Clinical Role & ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care for all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuriesPerform typical urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and minor orthopedic interventionsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and x-rays (with on-site x-ray tech)Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up careMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR (Experity)Work collaboratively with on-site medical assistants and support staffSolo coverage model: manage patient flow and clinical decision-making independentlySee approximately 3–4 patients per hourClinic hours: QualificationsMD or DO degree from an accredited institutionBoard certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal MedicineActive and unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)Comfortable treating pediatric, adult, and geriatric patientsProficient in urgent care procedures and minor office-based interventionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently in a solo provider settingExperience with EMRs; familiarity with Experity is a plusSupport & BenefitsMedical assistant and x-ray tech on site during all operating hoursPrivately owned, physician-friendly work environmentGenerous referral fees available – ask about our program!
