Description: The department is seeking a highly qualified professional to serve as project manager for the implementation of two new commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) business systems or a single system with - customer service and case management and homeless management information (HMIS) components in the Finance and Information Systems Division. The project manager will lead the implementation of a comprehensive, integrated, homeless management information system and client case management information system. The systems will securely store and manage an array of human service client demographic and programmatic information. The management systems will include components for client registration and profiling, case management, enrollment and waitlist management, and staff training. Specifically, the Project Manager will: • Facilitate and track development of functional requirements defined in the contract • Establish vendor, IT and business partnerships to support system implementation • Develop and monitor the detailed project schedule and work plan • Demonstrate that all system requirements are tested, verified and implemented using a traceability matrix • Coordinate the overall project and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner • Utilize industry best practices, techniques and standards throughout entire project execution • Develop and implement a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed of progress, challenges and status • Measure and report project health, risk and performance to identify areas for improvement and risk remediation plan.
