Lead architecture and performance optimizations for power and battery management subsystems Perform design analysis and simulations, including tolerance analysis, noise, power and signal integrity, and timing Assist with component selection and schematic/layout reviews with cross-functional hardware teams Partner with silicon vendors on new PMIC and charger IC development, including design reviews, bring-up, and characterization Support hardware and firmware bring-up, characterization, and debug Author hardware specifications and review vendor datasheets Support hardware prototyping and engineering demos Drive product and manufacturing validation through DVT and into mass productionBS/MS EE or equivalent 7+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal hardware design Deep understanding of various power mixed-signal building blocks: PMIC, DC-DC switching converter, LDO, charger, battery, PCM, ADC/DAC, temperature sensor, LED driver, ultra-low power design Strong analog/mixed-signal analysis: simulations, tolerance analysis, noise, power integrity, signal-integrity, timing, etc. Proficient in bench testing and equipment usage (oscilloscope, power supplies, electronic loads, DMM, etc.) for silicon and system validation Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to drive alignment across hardware, firmware, and silicon teamsExperience in designing low-power, high volume consumer products Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to accelerate design analysis, simulation, hardware characterization, and validation workflows Experience with scripting languages such as Matlab and Python Familiarity with SPICE-based simulation tools Familiarity with digital interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, etc.
