The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for promoting The Salvation Army in the community by identifying, initiating, and deepening relationships, executing community outreach programs for the ARC Rehabilitation Programs, donated goods and thrift stores, identifying funding sources and community partners, working with government and civic agencies, and promoting The Salvation Army's work in the communities we serve. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Identify, initiate, and deepen relationships with various community stakeholders in the areas that the ARC's serve, with a focus on key groups, including shoppers & donors or various demographics, program referral sources, community partners and civic and gov't leaders, schools, and other groups.
