Including but not limited to: Soiled sorting conveyors and sorting equipment, Weigh Scales, Laundry monorail system and conveyors, Continuous Batch Tunnel Washers, Open Pocket 400-pound washer/extractor, Open Pocket 100-pound washer/extractor, Pod- drying system, Flatwork Chest Ironers, Sheet Spreaders and Folders, Steam Tunnels, Small Folders, Blanket Folders, Mechanical Room equipment including water softeners, boilers, water reuse system and heat reclamation system. The Department of Veterans Affairs performs pre-employment reference checks as an assessment method used in the hiring process to verify information provided by a candidate (e.g., on resume or during interview or hiring process); gain additional knowledge regarding a candidates abilities; and assist a hiring manager with making a final selection for a position.
