POSITION SUMMARY: The Site Coordinator is responsible for leading the daily operations of a high-quality before- or after-school program. This role ensures a physically and emotionally safe environment, builds relationships with students, families, and school staff, and provides direct supervision to site staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: <ul><li>Lead and supervise daily program activities including academic support, character development, arts, STEM, and super service. </li><li>Maintain compliance with state regulations, YMCA policies, and safety protocols. </li><li>Foster strong communication with families and school personnel. </li><li>Perform regular site inspections and drills. </li><li>Conduct performance reviews for site staff. </li><li>Maintain accurate records including attendance, supply requests, and program documents. </li><li>Attend all required trainings and staff meetings. </li><li>Support YMCA special events such but not limited to Healthy Kids Day and the Christmas Parade. </li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>3 years of experience working with school-aged children in educational or youth development settings. </li><li>Completion of 72 quarter or 48 semester college units or passing scores on the NCLB exam. </li><li>1+ years of staff supervision experience required. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. </li><li>Must have reliable transportation and availability for assigned shifts. </li><li>CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications required within 30 days of hire. </li></ul> YMCA Competencies: Mission Advancement: Reinforces the Ys values within the organization and the community.
