Non-treatment related tasks include but are not limited to cleaning and preparing treatment areas, facilitating communication between the patient, hospital staff, and rehabilitation staff, providing telephone customer service and 1:1 verbal customer service, assessing equipment and supplies PAR levels, ordering linen and supplies, using a computer to look up and enter necessary information, such as statistics or charges, and completing other routine departmental or administrative functions. Cleans, monitors and organizes treatment equipment and equipment storage areas, including equipment before and after patient use, assists with distribution of equipment and other deliveries to appropriate areas, including FEES scopes to/from sterile processing.
