 <ul><li>Project delivery</li><li>Business analysis and requirements gathering</li><li>Testing</li><li>Operational readiness and support</li><li>Operational efficiencies</li><li>Manual process remediation</li><li>Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income & Equities</li></ul></li><li>Participates in the development of functional or operational requirements</li><li>Participates in process improvement reviews and summarizes business issues and client feedback for teams review</li><li>Uses defined or documented processes to collect and define requirements from businesses or functional areas</li><li>Pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement in operational process, client experience and business growth</li><li>Uses knowledge of business needs to provide design support to software and application development teams</li><li>Tasks include case development, requirement traceability, analysis, test script writing and preparation, test execution and validation</li><li>Supports testing of new or enhanced process(es), functionality, applications and/or systems</li><li>Key role in ensuring operational readiness across the teams before any production implementation(s)</li><li>Interfaces with all areas of IT on behalf of the business to resolve IT matters and improve operational and business processes</li><li>Uses basic knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements and BNY corporate policies involving risk and control to support the development of improved business processes through technology</li><li>Understands and follows procedures, policy and governance associated with responsibilities and the role. </li></ul>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required</li><li>0-3 years of total work experience preferred</li><li>Technical experience preferred</li><li>Aspects of project work with a background of execution and delivery</li><li>Foreign Exchange product knowledge</li><li>Prior work experience in an Agile environment</li><li>Preferred:

The Borgen Project is an international organization that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine and poverty.

Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Look no further!<a href="http://borgenproject.org/about-us/" rel="nofollow">The Borgen Project</a> is an international organization that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine and poverty.With 20 years of experience in the advocacy space, The Borgen Project has worked to support the passage of numerous bills that have benefitted close to 500 million people in developing countries. Political Affairs Internship: The role focuses on making poverty a focus of U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy. This is a part-time 12-hours per week, 12 week, unpaid remote internship. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks. . Responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Leading public and political outreach in your state and district.</li><li>Meeting with members of Congress/Government in your State/District/Constituency.</li><li>Representing The Borgen Project at various business, political and community events.</li><li>Assisting with fundraising. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.</li><li>Mobilizing individuals to contact their members of Government in support of key poverty-reduction legislation.</li><li>Speaking to groups, classes and organizations.</li><li>Writing letters of support for key programs to political leaders, media and other groups.</li></ul> Experience: No prior experience is necessary, we’re looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of your GPAs/background. Details: This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is available. Start Date: New programs begin every month, you choose the month you wish to start.
