You'll work with leadership, product owners and team members to understand complex business needs, and then design, develop and implement data-driven solutions. You have an eye for detail, but can also think abstractly, analytically and creatively about big challenges. You can create novel solutions that will support several teams like NOC, TAC, Fraud Operations and Bandwidth as a whole by making sense of our data, and taking action.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Use analytical tools and statistical techniques to build ways for identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting anomalies, trends and patterns found in network data</li><li>Use data analysis techniques and methods to get accurate and actionable insights across multiple datasets</li><li>Work with development teams to request improvements for statistical techniques and reporting methods</li><li>Work with teams to optimize data-driven workflows; and provide actionable data solutions, data visualization, and analysis results</li></ul><p><strong>What You Need:</strong></p><ul><li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, computer sciences, or related fields; or Bachelor's degree in unrelated field plus 2 years work experience in statistical analysis</li><li>Experience with development on projects heavily involved with large data sets and statistical methods, preferably in Python</li><li>Familiarity and knowledge with the concepts of machine learning, including data mining and unsupervised learning</li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with high attention to detail, and the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information</li><li>Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of issues, and willingness to overcome challenging problems while identifying opportunities for improvement</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify and explain information and findings to leadership, team members, and other internal stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>The Whole Person Promise:</strong></p><p>At Bandwidth, we're pretty proud of our corporate culture, which is rooted in our "Whole Person Promise." We are seeking an experienced Life Sciences architect and market leader to help grow, lead, and deliver our Life Sciences practice. This role is equal parts seller and doer—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. This person will work closely with Life Sciences leadership to pursue, win, and execute work, while building a high-performing team with support from our established design staff.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Business Development & Market Leadership
 
- Partner with design-build leadership to pursue and win Life Sciences projects
- Serve as a client-facing leader in proposals, presentations, interviews, and strategic discussions
- Leverage industry relationships and reputation to generate new opportunities
- Help define and communicate 142’s value proposition within a design-build environment
- Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and client engagements
 
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Serve as Principal-in-Charge and/or Project Executive on key projects
- Guide projects from early concept through execution, balancing design quality, schedule, and cost
- Deliver an exceptional client experience through clear communication and proactive leadership
- Collaborate seamlessly with design-build partners, consultants, and internal teams
 
Team Building & Leadership
- Build and grow a Life Sciences team over time, with support from 142’s existing staff and leadership
- Mentor architects and designers, setting expectations for quality, accountability, and client service
- Help establish scalable processes, standards, and best practices for the group
 
Strategic Vision & Design Leadership
- Provide design direction and maintain high design standards
- Contribute strategic insight to market positioning and practice growth
- Encourage innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking design solutions
- Help shape how design excellence integrates with speed and execution

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors or Masters in Architecture & 10+ years of experience, at least 5 years in Life Sciences Architecture (F&D, lab, GMP manufacturing, etc.)
- Proven success developing client relationships and winning work
- Strong presence in meetings, presentations, and client interactions
- Demonstrated leadership experience building and mentoring teams
- Strong design sensibility with practical delivery understanding
- Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial mindset
- Established industry credibility in Life Science and professional network preferred
- Licensed Architect preferred
- Collaborative, relationship-driven, no-ego leadership style
- Alignment with both 142’s design-driven approach and design-build execution environment
