Overview:
<p style="margin:0px">Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an Environmental Inspector to join our growing team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of local, field-based environmental projects, supporting pipeline, water infrastructure, and site development work across the region. Qualifications:
<div><ul><li>2+ years of environmental inspection experience, with a focus on erosion and sediment control or pipeline-related projects preferred</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and in varying weather conditions</li><li>Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours, including weekends or rotating shifts as needed</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a 4-wheel drive vehicle</li><li>Ability to walk long distances and navigate uneven terrain</li><li>Experience using GPS or data collection devices (or willingness to learn)</li><li>Safeland or OSHA 10 certification preferred</li><li>First Aid/CPR certification preferred</li></ul></div>

The role also requires data management and record keeping for all environmental areas. The Environmental Technician will collaborate with the mill production and maintenance teams and participate in the planning and coordination of the environmental team's work activities.<br/><br/>The Environmental Technician must be flexible to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, some night shiftsand weekends.
