p>Physical Demands & Work Environment: A Director must be able to sit for long periods of time directing newscasts and other programs, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
Knowledge of a wide range of professional video cameras from Blackmagic, Panasonic, Hitachi, DSLR cameras such as the Canon C300 MKIII and 80D's, wired and wireless microphone systems, LED studio and location lighting is essential.
