Specific duties include: Responsible for management and coordination of on-site operations; Actively monitor the field/sports site to ensure the safety and supervision of the participants, including direct officials, participants, parents, coaches, and spectators to their designated fields and ensure activities start on schedule; Promptly respond to injured participants, parents, coaches and spectators; Respond, resolve and report participant conflicts and complaints or concerns from on-site parents and participants about the program and the coaches; Prepare the field/site for games; complete regular playing surface and equipment checks to ensure compliance with event and safety regulations. Sports Program Ambassadors will be expected to serve as a positive role model, encourage opportunities to learn and have fun, ensure all rules and regulations are adhered to, and protect the safety of all participants and spectators while emphasizing the program ideals of team play, cooperation, and sportsmanship for all internal DPR sports leagues.
