POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Accountant is responsible for key accounting and financial reporting activities, including general ledger and fund accounting, fixed asset and capital project accounting, month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, nonprofit accounting, and audit support. Maintain and reconcile construction-in-progress and capital project accounts, including tracking project costs, reviewing capitalization eligibility, transferring completed projects to fixed assets, and ensuring timely project closeout.
