The ideal candidate should have the knowledge, experience and passion to work in the veterinary field; be able to monitor and assist with surgical procedures unaided; have knowledge of canine and feline anatomy and diseases, work well within a small team providing support to the doctor during exams; have a strong sense of self-awareness within your work, have a positive work attitude and ability to manage the many emotions that come with this field in a professional manner, be reliable and able to work the shifts assigned, assist in all aspects of daily operations including client service duties and willingness to assist with any other area within the practice, work rotational weekend shifts, as well as have the following skills:Assist and support the Veterinarian with all of their duties; perform and accurately record evaluations, examination, vaccination, and medical treatments of patients. Work in cooperation within different departments to ensure medical records and billing is up to date and correct; light administrative and receptionist duties; general nightly hospital clean up.
