Under the direction of a Library Assistant II Lead Worker, a Library Assistant III, or a Librarian II, part-time Library Assistant II positions are responsible for general functions of the library, which may include accounts, information, or library material assistance at the public desks, adult instruction, youth programs, or library promotion, outreach, and events. Develops engaging programs and activities for children, teens, and families, including early literacy and story times, educational programs, computers and software, crafts and lifelong learning, and programs which promote cooperation.
