Account Manager

CSE is looking for an Account Manager with at least 5+ years of experiential, sponsorship, and event marketing experience to work with the Account Leadership team on iconic client brands such as Coca-Cola. The Account Manager will be responsible for day-to-day client interfacing, development of experiential and sponsorship strategy, planning and execution of brand activations and experiential marketing programs, management of sponsorship properties, execution of product sampling and trade show programs, delivery of best-in-class client and guest hospitality, and potential management of direct reports.

Responsibilities:

• Develop overarching experiential and sponsorship marketing strategies based on client marketing/business objectives and desired target audience(s)
• Evaluate current sponsorships and experiential programs, and provide POVs in light of the new strategy.
• Collaborate with sports & entertainment properties to fully execute contractual assets and yield strong results for the client.
• Lead the ideation, planning, and on-site execution of experiential marketing programs and brand activations that create memorable, measurable consumer engagement.
• Develop strategic experiential marketing plans — including brand activations, product sampling programs, trade show/exhibit execution, and hospitality experiences — that leverage sponsorship assets, creative and content strategy, and recaps showcasing success and ROI
• Work cross-functionally with client’s various departments and their respective agencies.
• Utilize internal agency resources & teams to deliver best-in-class work for the client.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of and become well-versed in client business, their experiential programs, and sponsored properties — i.e., their key issues, competitive situation, and industry trends.
• Potential management of team member(s) and their growth.
• Assist the Account Lead with the development of annual planning and account growth opportunities.
• Lead internal cross-functional project meetings and external client status meetings.
• Manage departmental processes, oversee internal department accounting (billing, job codes, reconciliation), and manage internal project communication.
• Assemble, recommend, and monitor budgets and expenses while managing realistic budget expectations for clients.
• Plan and execute product sampling programs, including logistics, staffing, and distribution, to drive trial and brand engagement.
• Manage trade show and exhibit presence, including booth logistics, staffing, materials, and on-site execution.
• Oversee client and VIP hospitality programs — suites, ticketing, guest experiences, and event-day logistics — ensuring a best-in-class experience for clients and their guests.

Requirements:
Proven track record, experience, and examples/case studies of the following:

• Experiential marketing.
• Project management.
• Client interfacing.
• Creative ideation.
• Team management
• Product sampling and trade show/exhibit execution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experiential, sponsorship, and event marketing experience — including brand activations, product sampling, trade shows, and hospitality — preferably with an agency
• Experience working with CPG (consumer packaged goods) brands is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills and ability to showcase examples of this in clear written and verbal formats.
• Expert client management and account management skills in retaining, managing and growing long-term relationships.
• Ability to manage/execute/recap promotions associated with marketing initiatives.
• Experience managing hospitality programs and VIP guest experiences at live events (suites, ticketing, credentialing, and on-site guest services) is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field is a must (advanced education is a bonus).
