Our client is a high growth SAAS company based in Los Angeles

 

About the Job

 

Responsible for financial bookkeeping, accounting, billing, and Accounts Receivables duties for a fast growing Software as a Service company.  

 

Ideally, we are looking for someone that has experience doing the below functions (hands-on role) in a software / SaaS company and understands associated accounting and book-keeping functions

 

Accounts Receivable Duties:

 

1. Prepare and submit supplier setup documentation
2. Prepare and submit customer invoices
3. Code and post payments
4. Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments

 

Accounts Payable Duties:

 

1. Check, verify and process invoices
2. Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
3. Obtain approvals for invoice payments
4. Maintain and Process 1099s for new vendors

 

Payroll/HR Function:

 

1. Set up new hire data in payroll system
2. Set up monthly payroll for final approval
3. Prepare and post payroll journal entries to GL
4. Set up access to benefits enrollment system

 

G/L:

 

1. Assist with month-end close
2. Assist with entity consolidation and
3. Perform account reconciliations
4. Other ad-hoc projects

 

Qualifications:

 

Required Experience:

 

1. BA/B.Sc. in Accounting or Business
2. Minimum three years’ experience working in an accounting department preferably with a dynamic high-tech, SAAS company
3. Proficient with MS software (Excel, Word, etc.)
4. Experience working with multiple accounting ERP software packages
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
