Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced accounting team supporting high-volume invoice processing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a deadline-driven environment and has strong experience with invoice processing, GL coding, and researching invoice discrepancies.
Responsibilities
Process high-volume, non-PO vendor invoices
Perform GL coding and route invoices for approval
Review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
Process invoices accurately and within established deadlines
Maintain electronic invoice documentation and indexing
Partner with internal departments to resolve accounts payable questions
Assist with additional AP projects as needed
Qualifications
Required:
2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
Experience processing non-PO invoices
Strong GL coding experience
AP research and invoice discrepancy resolution experience
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Experience with Coupa or JD Edwards (JDE)
Experience with electronic invoice indexing or document management systems
Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
