Description: Secretary for Faciliites and Operation Departments the 2026/2027 School Year
Job Summary:
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, Technology, or a related field
Minimum of three to five years of successful secretarial, executive administrative, facilities, operations, or business office experience, preferably in a public school district environment
Demonstrated proficiency in technology systems and productivity software through certifications, training credentials, or documented experience in:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Calendar)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) productivity and analytics tools used to improve workflow efficiency, reporting, communication, data analysis, scheduling, and operational management
Advanced proficiency in:
Spreadsheet development and analytics
Database management
Scheduling systems
Electronic document management systems
Report generation and presentation development
Ability to analyze operational data and prepare detailed reports and summaries for administration
Knowledge of New Jersey public school purchasing, operational procedures, and compliance requirements preferred
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
