    Job Responsibilities:

    • Administrative Support: Manage scheduling, coordinate office operations, answer telephones, receive visitors, and maintain standard professional office protocols.
    • Data & Reporting: Compile information, perform data entry, and gather research to prepare, review, and analyze departmental reports.
    • Financial & Grant Management: Prepare and track requisitions and purchase orders; analyze and manage department and grant budgets; and research and compile information to support grant writing.
    • Document & Presentation Preparation: Draft agendas, correspondence, and PowerPoint presentations utilizing spreadsheets, databases, word processing, email, and internet applications.
    • Records Management: Handle sensitive data with strict confidentiality, judgment, and discretion while organizing, filing, and maintaining all office correspondence and records.
    • Project & Team Collaboration: Complete special projects, attend assigned meetings, and directly assist the Executive Director of A&F, Grants Administrator, Superintendent, and Personnel Office with related tasks.
    • Assists the Executive Director of A&F and the Grants Administrator with related duties as needed.
    • Assist the Superintendent and Personnel Office as needed.

    Qualifications Required:

    • College degree in finance or education preferred; relevant experience may be substituted for education

    • Detail oriented and self-motivated

    • Thorough knowledge of office procedures. Business math, grammar and the use of office equipment

    • Familiarity with the rules, laws, procedures and regulations pertinent to the assignment.

    • Ability to operate computers programs with expertise and professionalism.

    • Knowledge and ability to ensure form in logic to prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and power point presentations on Microsoft Office, MUNIS Finance other related programs

    • Ability to organize time, work independently and accomplish tasks despite frequent interruptions.

    • Ability to maintain detailed statistics and records as required by the assignment.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with the public, co-workers, officials and with those at other agencies.

    Qualifications Preferred:

    • Bilingual Spanish

    Salary: Compensation is commensurate with experience and education level.

    Terms: This position is a full time position (40 hours/week) for set hours between 8:00 - 4:30. This position requires working on-site. This is a non-bargaining position and is eligible for benefits.
