Base salary with uncapped, residual commissions plus bonuses
Summary/Objectives:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is an introductory position to selling freight services for a 3rd party logistics company. As a BDR, you will receive training designed to introduce you to the supply chain industry and the role within it. Training will mainly focus on developing industry knowledge, full operations, and B2B inside sales techniques used to identify, qualify, and schedule meetings with potential customers.
BDRs are responsible for engaging prospects and initiating the sales cycle by scheduling discovery calls with qualified leads. From that point on, they will work alongside experienced Account Executives to progress the opportunity and close the deal.
BDRs will be placed on an immediate progression plan for promotion to the Account Executive position which comes with a salary increase along with significantly increased commission opportunities.
