Change Management Consultant

Our client, a management consulting company based in New York, is looking for a Change Management Consultant to support enterprise transformation engagements for mid-market and Fortune 500 clients. This role works directly with client executive teams to plan and execute organizational changes tied to system implementations, restructuring, and process redesign initiatives.

The consultant will develop change strategies, communication plans, and training programs that help client organizations adopt new processes and technology with minimal disruption. This position requires frequent client-facing work, including workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive readouts, and will report directly to a engagement partner.

This is a hybrid role based out of the firm's Manhattan office, with travel to client sites as engagements require. The firm serves clients across financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute change management strategies for client transformation projects
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop tailored communication plans
• Build and deliver training materials for end users affected by organizational change
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with client leadership teams
• Assess organizational readiness and identify adoption risks
• Track change management metrics and report progress to engagement leadership
• Coach client managers on leading their teams through transition periods
• Collaborate with project managers to align change activities with implementation timelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, organizational psychology, or related field
• 5 or more years of experience in change management or organizational consulting
• Experience supporting large-scale system or process transformation projects
• Strong facilitation and executive presentation skills
• Proficiency with change management frameworks such as Prosci ADKAR
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed
• Excellent written communication for client-facing deliverables
• Prosci certification preferred but not required
