The Clerical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient day-to-day office operations. This role handles data entry, document management, scheduling support, record maintenance, and communication tasks in a fully remote work environment.
The Clerical Assistant works closely with internal departments and team members to maintain organized workflows, accurate records, and timely administrative support.
This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical and administrative support duties
- Maintain digital files, records, and organizational documentation
- Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and database updates
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and internal communications professionally
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and calendar updates as needed
- Prepare reports, forms, and administrative documents
- Support document review, filing, and information tracking processes
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client information
- Assist with operational coordination and workflow support
- Perform additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in clerical support, administrative assistance, or office operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Basic problem-solving and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, or Zoom
- Experience with task management software such as Asana or Trello
- Previous experience working in remote administrative environments
- Basic records management or bookkeeping experience is a plus
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range:$40,000 – $56,000 USD, depending on experience, responsibilities, and organizational scope
