Job Summary

The Finance Intern opportunity focuses on government reimbursement, revenue analysis, and related financial functions within a dynamic, multi-state healthcare organization. This role offers valuable exposure to the complexities of the healthcare system''s financial management across Baptist's organization in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

Job Responsibilities

• Analysis and research related to patient accounts to ensure proper accounting
• Support for external governmental report filings
• Projects involving gathering data to make appropriate month end closing entries
• Projects dealing with revenue optimization
• Completes assigned goals

Minimum Required Education

Be working towards a Degree in Accounting with substantial coursework completed or Graduate Student with Accounting Degree. Some upper division coursework

Minimum Required Training

Proficient in spreadsheets and other software/technology solutions

Minimum Required Special Skills

Strong analytical skills. Good communication skills. Detail Oriented with good time management skills. Interested in working for a mission based community organization.
