About the Role:
Boston’s Bridge to Excellence, Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated
Lead Teacher/Site Coordinator to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that support children’s developmental and academic goals
- Coordinate daily site operations and help ensure programming runs safely, smoothly, and on schedule
- Supervise, guide, and mentor classroom staff, assistant teachers, and aides
- Monitor and assess student progress while maintaining accurate developmental records and required documentation
- Foster a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for every child
- Communicate regularly with families about student progress, classroom activities, and program updates
- Maintain accurate attendance, staffing, incident, and program records
- Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations, organizational policies, and early education standards
- Assist with staff scheduling, reporting, enrollment coordination, family communication, and other administrative responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with school leadership, families, BBTE administrators, and community partners
Requirements:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Massachusetts EEC Lead Teacher certification or qualifications required
- Previous experience in early childhood education, childcare, site coordination, or a lead teacher position
- Knowledge of Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations and early education standards
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to supervise staff and manage classroom and site responsibilities effectively
- Passion for child development and creating positive learning experiences
- Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, staff, school partners, and the community
