Media Operations Specialist

As a Media Operations Specialist, you will become deeply proficient in prelog and postlog processes, maintain the integrity of client media data, and strengthen cross-functional connection across the agency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Collect station reports and reconcile scheduled vs. aired ads.

• Train on both Prelogs and Postlogs; develop a working understanding of each data set.

• Enter Postlogs into the Filemaker/MediaPro system weekly to ensure client reporting accuracy.

• Maintain Google Drive spreadsheets tracking all logs received or pending.

• Sort and format Excel data to validate station information, rates, and duplication.

• Serve as a reliable team contributor, providing coverage across clients and stations.

Prelog responsibilities:

• Audit data before spots air, checking dates, times, and rates.

• Investigate discrepancies and prepare written summaries for Client Services.

• Maintain weekly trackers and daily reporting to client services and planning teams.

Postlog responsibilities:

• Verify all clients are accounted for; check DNR confirmations and missing logs.

• Learn Interconnect reporting (year 2).

• Match logs to invoices in partnership with Accounting.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• High proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables).

• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working under tight deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

• 1–3 years of experience in media operations, media buying, or data-heavy roles.
