Love photography, organization, and being at the center of campus events? Join the University of Alaska Fairbanks as our Photography Operations Coordinator, where you'll help keep the university's visual storytelling running smoothly. This position combines event coordination, photography support, digital asset management, and departmental operations to ensure high-quality photography services are delivered across the university.
You'll coordinate photography requests for executive leadership, campus events, marketing initiatives, and institutional communications while managing scheduling, digital image workflows, and operational processes. Working closely with photographers, university leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners, you'll play an important role in capturing and preserving the stories that showcase the UAF community.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in business, communications, marketing, photography, media, or a related field and two years of progressively responsible experience in administrative operations, event coordination, communications, photography support, or project coordination; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Position Details:
This is an in-office, part-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
