At Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill MGM Grand, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional cuisine, warm hospitality, and the high culinary standards associated with the Wolfgang Puck name. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team at the iconic MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Position Summary

The Prep Cook plays an essential role in supporting the culinary team by preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen organization, and ensuring that all food preparation meets the high quality and consistency standards of Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for service including washing, cutting, chopping, and portioning meats, seafood, vegetables, and other food items

  • Assist chefs with mise en place to ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for service

  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep stations and kitchen areas

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage standards

  • Label and properly store all food items according to company and health department guidelines

  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed

  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations

  • Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef or Sous Chef

Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Knowledge of basic knife skills and food safety practices

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
