Job Description
Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Project Accounting & Operations Manager for our client located in Greensboro, NC 27401. The Project Accounting & Operations Manager will be working closely with senior leadership and will be involved in the financial, administrative, and operational side of the business to include revenue, job cost, invoicing, accounts receivable, pricing, project financial management, and business processes. This is a newly created role offering excellent benefits and long-term growth potential.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee project cost management and financial performance, including job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
Manage and review project invoicing, accounts receivable, and complex customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of financial issues.
Lead the monthly financial and revenue close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Assist with pricing analysis, financial modeling, and pricing strategy to support informed business decisions and profitability.
Develop, review, and maintain spreadsheets and financial models used to evaluate jobs, customers, project costs, pricing, and profitability.
Analyze financial and operational data and provide meaningful insights, recommendations, and reporting to senior leadership.
Track and monitor division assets, including the use of geofencing technology for mobile assets.
Partner closely with operations, administrative teams, and field personnel to understand project activity, evaluate financial performance, and resolve issues.
Identify and implement improvements to financial, administrative, invoicing, and operational processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with company teams on AI strategy, automation, new technology, and improvements to business and dispatch systems.
Take on additional business, financial, and operational responsibilities as knowledge of the company and its operations develops.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
3+ years of accounting, finance, or project accounting experience
Experience in construction, heavy equipment, industrial services, or another project-based environment preferred.
Strong understanding of construction job-cost methods.
Must live within 30-35 minutes of Greensboro NC.
Strong Excel, spreadsheet, and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze job cost and pricing information.
Comfortable communicating directly with company leadership, customers, and field personnel
Willing to make decisions, ask questions, solve problems, and follow issues through to resolution.
Interested in business operations and management and looking for a long-term career with room to grow.
