- Night Shift | 3x12 Hours
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other holiday required
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Registered Nurse to join a leading acute care hospital in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong critical care judgment and clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the PCU/Stepdown unit
- Monitor, assess, and manage patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months recent PCU/Stepdown experience required
- Minimum 18 months of permanent acute care experience prior to travel assignments
- Active RN license (Ohio or Compact State) required at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate testing during orientation
