The Administrative Assistant of Student Information at River Street Schools and Programs provides comprehensive administrative and data management support to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of student records and related program information. This position serves as a central resource for maintaining student data systems, coordinating compliance-related documentation and reporting, scheduling student support meetings, and supporting communication with families, school districts, and external agencies. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information while supporting the effective operation of educational programs and services for students.
Duties/Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely student attendance records in designated student information systems, including PowerSchool and Keystone, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Support communication with families regarding student attendance, including distributing notifications, responding to inquiries, and assisting with attendance-related follow-up activities.
Manage and coordinate program calendars and scheduling functions, compliance-related deadlines, appointments, and program activities while resolving scheduling conflicts and prioritizing competing demands.
Coordinate and schedule student support and service meetings, including Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings, ensuring adherence to established timelines, documentation requirements, and compliance deadlines.
Enter, submit, and maintain restraint and seclusion data in CT-SEDS, Keystone, and other RSS databases in accordance with state reporting requirements and established procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), with the ability to create, edit, and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations efficiently.
Bilingual preferred.
