Special Education Clerk
The position of a Special Education Clerk will be availableat East Central ISD for the 2026-2027 school year. All individuals (district employees included) who are interested in this position must apply online through Frontline via the district website. PRIMARY PURPOSE: Organize and manage routine work activities. To provide assistance with data collection and record management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Word processing, typing, editing, and organizational skills
Experienced people skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good telephone etiquette
Experience:
One-year Clerical experience preferred
Must perform assigned duties with a minimum of supervision
EQUIPMENT USED: Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals, instructional equipment
WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Prolonged sitting, repetitive hand motions, prolonged use of a computer. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom or adaptive equipment. Work with frequent interruptions and light to moderate lifting and carrying (up to 45 pounds). Normal office environment; travel between campuses
