Technical Administrative Assistant Intern

The Technical Administrative Assistant Intern at Crux Subsurface will provide administrative support to the Engineering department, with a primary focus on assisting the Quality Manager with quality documentation and project records. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how quality management, project controls, and construction administration work in a fast-paced heavy construction environment. This position will work alongside engineers, project managers, and quality personnel and gain real exposure to how large-scale foundation construction projects are managed from the office side.

Hourly: $19.00 DOE

Sick Leave accrual in accordance with company policies.

What You'll Do
  • Provide administrative support to the Engineering department across multiple projects
  • Assist the Quality Manager with reviewing, organizing, and maintaining quality management documents, inspection records, and project files
  • Assist with the preparation and tracking of submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation
  • Perform data entry and maintain project logs and tracking spreadsheets
  • Help compile and format quality management plans and project-specific documentation
  • Support document control processes to ensure project records are accurate and current
  • Assist with other engineering and project administration tasks as assigned
What You'll Bring
  • Preference given to individuals currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in construction, engineering, or project management
  • Self-starter who can work independently and ask the right questions
Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is - depending on experience and qualifications.
