Overview: The Plant Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installation, inspection, repairs, and maintains machinery and assures electrical and mechanical equipment are in proper working order. May be assigned a specific activity to assist or may be working toward a formal apprenticeship with any one of the following: Plumber, Carpenter, Painter, Electrician, Refrigeration Mechanic, Elevator Mechanic, or Plant Operating Engineer.
