Responsibilities:Operate CNC Lathes, Turret style or Swiss typeWork well in team environmentOperate, load/unload material, indicate vices/fixtures, setup robotic tending systems Inspect and verify conformance to specifications, high blueprint reading abilityProvide crucial input on CNC programming, tool path, and tool/cutter selectionRequirements: CNC operating experience Able to program using cam system, preferably Mastercam (will train but not required)Mastery of setting up fixtures, tooling, vices, and clamps Operates machines running complex and high tolerance components Follows all safety and work rules and practicesPassionate about prototyping and machining Strong work ethic and highly motivated Meticulous attention to detail and well organized Strong verbal communication skills, team orientedExcellent mathematic knowledge including multiplication, division, fractions. Avers Machine, a TMA Member company, is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Set Up Person; Programmer not required but a plus to add to our team in Schiller Park, IL.
