Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in ICU License: Pending New Mexico license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience Patient ratio experience of 1:2 Experience with arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients Ability to manage central lines, chronic/acute renal failure, continuous IV sedation, and stroke management Experience in neuro intensive care and surgical intensive care Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in the intensive care unit. Additional skills in starting and maintaining IVs, managing dysrhythmias, and administering procedural sedation are desirable.
