Lessons for math sessions include inquiry-based instruction, with a strong focus on explicit instruction. Curriculum and content will be provided within the platform.</li><li>Manage student behavior and engagement throughout sessions.</li><li>Create a safe, respectful learning environment.</li><li>Maintain positive relationships with students throughout the entire schedule of the program.</li><li>Document observations for each session.</li></ul></div></div><div><h3 id="">Requirements:</h3><div><ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience teaching/tutoring K-8 students in mathematics, which may include, but is not limited to: </li><li><ul><li>having a current/previous teaching license;</li><li>serving as a substitute teacher or teaching assistant, paraprofessional, professor, instructor;</li><li>AND/OR tutoring for another tutoring company in the content area of math.</li></ul></li><li>Classroom experience and/or online teaching/tutoring experience in math is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of and experience in mathematical best practices, specifically for intervention and assisting students struggling with mathematics.</li><li>Commitment to teaching in alignment with the provided curriculum lesson design, structure, and strategies.</li><li>Access to a computer, webcam, and reliable, high-speed internet connection with a speed of at least 10mbps is a necessity for the position.</li><li>Ability to build meaningful connections with students to create an encouraging and motivating environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Our Hiring Process</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Apply:</strong> Submit an application online.</li><li><strong>Interview: </strong>Applicants invited to our one-way interview round will be asked to submit videos answering questions designed to help us evaluate their experience and educational knowledge.
