The role verifies appropriate Current Procedural terminology (CPT) and ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding information, monitors duplicate or missing charges, supports monthly revenue reporting, and serves as a liaison among the laboratory, Health Information Management (HIM), Patient Financial Services/Revenue Cycle, University of Toledo Medical Center clinics, provider offices, and the University of Toledo Physicians (UTP) practice plan. • Strong oral and written communication skills, including professional communication with patients, providers, clinics, HIM, Revenue Cycle/Patient Financial Services, and laboratory staff.
