The coordinator also provides operational oversight of the Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) Program, including patient referrals, multidisciplinary coordination, procedure support, inventory oversight, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, staff education, and long-term program development. The Program Coordinator serves as the primary liaison among physicians, respiratory therapy, nursing, anesthesia, pathology, radiology, pulmonary rehabilitation, sterile processing, biomedical engineering, scheduling, vendors, and hospital administration.
