Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 3+ years of CNC setup and machining experience in a manufacturing environment Experience setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning centers Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical blueprints Strong understanding of GD&T and machining tolerances Experience using precision inspection equipment Knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, feeds and speeds, and machining best practices Ability to troubleshoot machining and tooling issues independently Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Excellent communication and teamwork skills Technical school certificate or associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or a related field, a plus Experience machining stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, and other engineering materials, a plus Experience with Haas, Doosan, Mazak, or similar CNC equipment, a plus Familiarity with CAM software and basic G-code editing, a plus Experience in medical device, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing industries, a plus Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, a plus. Physical Requirements: Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Perform repetitive hand and arm movements while operating machinery Frequently bend, kneel, reach, and stoop Ability to distinguish fine details during inspections Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
