Own the RFx Process: Lead the end-to-end RFx cycle, including preparing and issuing RFQ(s) to potential manufacturing and supply partners; performing thorough analysis and evaluation of responses; driving negotiations for optimal terms; advocating a path and securing internal approvals; and nominating the selected partner(s) that meet Tesla's strategic objectives. Technical expertise: Deep understanding of PCBA manufacturing (SMT, through-hole, testing, and final assembly), familiarity with automotive semiconductor components (MCUs, SoCs, MOSFETs, IGBTs), and experience managing material planning, strategic sourcing, inventory control, should cost analysis, and risk management.
