5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience Experience in a small-to-mid-sized business environment with a hands-on approach Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls Ability to independently prepare management accounts and financial analysis Experience supporting senior leadership with commercial and strategic decisions Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Sage preferred CPA, CMA, or similar qualification preferred but not required Experience within distribution, manufacturing, or fast-paced growth environments is a plus . Lead month-end close processes and prepare accurate financial reports and management accounts Oversee AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and maintain general ledger integrity Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and variance analysis Develop financial models to support pricing, investments, and business decisions Strengthen financial controls, ensure compliance, and support audit/tax processes Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support growth initiatives .
