The Director is responsible for ensuring the Learning Center operates as a high-impact, data-informed student success organization that continuously expands its reach, improves student outcomes, and advances Fresno State’s strategic priorities, as well as divisional and California State University system goals for persistence, retention, timely graduation, and equity gap reduction. These high-impact practices strengthen academic confidence, deepen course understanding, improve academic performance, increase course completion, reduce DFW rates, and support students experiencing academic difficulty, including those on academic warning or subject to academic disqualification.
