Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of recreation therapy and life enrichment services for skilled nursing, personal care, and short-term rehabilitation residents, ensuring programs reflect assessed needs, abilities, interests, preferences, and individualized care-plan goals. Manages the department’s daily operations and assigned team members, including program development, clinical care planning, staffing, budget administration, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, resident and family engagement, community events, outings, and relationships with vendors, volunteers, and community partners.
