Demonstrated experience in gear design and analysis, including automated design and analysis tools, finite element analysis, and engineering hand calculations applied to complex mechanical systems or aerospace hardware, and demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams, including engineers with varying levels of experience. Department/Segment Overview : Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles Engineering (MSEN) : MSEN is responsible for the design, development and in service support of power transmission systems, bearing compartment and rotor support design and analysis, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, as well as nacelles for commercial and military engine models.
