Master of Library Science (MLS) or Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an ALA-accredited program is required; 3-5 years of library experience, preferably in an academic or health sciences library setting; Knowledge of major health sciences databases and information resources, including PubMed/MEDLINE and NLM resources; Knowledge of evidence-based practice frameworks and systematic review methodologies; Knowledge of relevant academic and instructional design technologies for content creation (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite); Knowledge of a learning management system (e.g., D2L Brightspace, Canvas); Proficiency with Springshare products (LibGuides, LibAnswers, etc. Provide individual and group research consultations for health sciences students and faculty; Assist with systematic reviews and complex literature searches, including development of comprehensive search strategies across multiple health sciences databases; Support evidence-based practice (EBP) initiatives across health sciences programs; Assist faculty and students with citation management tools (e.g., Zotero, EndNote, Mendeley); Support research data management, including assistance with data management plans (DMPs) as required by NIH, NSF, and other federal funding agencies; and.
