This role collaborates with pharmacists, buyers, clinic staff, couriers, and supply chain personnel to resolve distribution issues, support emergency medication requests, coordinate backorder or shortage substitutions, and maintain continuity of patient care services across multiple sites of care. The Distribution Technician assists with daily operations involving pharmaceutical wholesaler orders, internal stock transfers, automated dispensing cabinet replenishment support, controlled workflow processes, cold-chain product handling, expiration date monitoring, shortage mitigation support, and management of pharmaceutical supplies and packaging materials.
