Here’s what you need to qualify: Minimum Qualifications: Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis OR An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis OR An equivalent combination of education and experience Requested Skills: Knowledge and aptitude to use Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe and other computer software systems such as various virtual meeting platforms Knowledge of public meetings, public records, and state financial policies Ability to keep information confidential Skill in formatting, producing, and revising correspondence, meeting minutes, and other documents. Skill in organizing work efficiently and exercising independent judgment in making appropriate decisions Skill in proofreading documents and correspondence for finalization Attention to detail Ability to facilitate meetings and committees and work with people who have diverse interests Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively, both orally and in writing, to a broad spectrum of executive, management, professional, technical and support staff within the Department, other state agencies, and the public The person holding this position must have the ability to work with a high degree of initiative and autonomy, as well as work in teams and small-work groups.
